Blood Feast

Back in the early sixties, there was nothing like it, and audiences were shocked by the extreme sickness and gore of the film. Audiences nowadays might raise an eyebrow at the portrayal of the sinister Egyptian shop owner and his overacting.
Director Herschell Gordon Lewis rose to fame as the inventor of what you could refer to as gore cinema.
